Abstract
This article examines the role of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital platforms in shaping and developing modern entrepreneurship. Drawing on a synthesis of scholarly literature, international statistical reports and comparative analysis, the study identifies the principal channels through which these technologies influence entrepreneurial activity: market access, process automation, data-driven decision-making, customer engagement and access to financing. The results indicate that the combined use of AI tools and platform ecosystems significantly lowers entry barriers, reduces operating costs, accelerates time-to-market and supports sustainable revenue growth. The article also discusses the main barriers — digital skills gaps, data-security risks, algorithmic dependence and regulatory uncertainty — and offers practical recommendations for entrepreneurs and policymakers.
