Abstract

The implementation of the credit-module system has become one of the most important reforms aimed at improving the quality and effectiveness of higher education. This educational model is based on student-centered learning, academic flexibility, transparency in assessment, and competency-based education. The credit-module system provides students with greater opportunities for independent learning, academic mobility, and professional development while ensuring compatibility with international educational standards. This article examines the advantages and challenges of implementing the credit-module system in higher education institutions. Particular attention is given to its role in improving educational quality, enhancing student academic performance, promoting independent learning, and strengthening international cooperation. The study also analyzes the difficulties associated with the adaptation process, technological infrastructure, and institutional readiness. The findings indicate that the credit-module system contributes significantly to the modernization of higher education and the preparation of highly qualified specialists capable of meeting the demands of the contemporary labor market.
