Abstract

This article analyzes the importance, current practice, and prospects for improvement of performance-based budgeting in the field of school education in Uzbekistan. Based on international experience (Singapore, USA, France), the advantages of focusing on efficiency and outcomes in educational financing are highlighted. Using statistical data from 2020–2024, the impact of budget funds on educational outcomes in Uzbekistan is examined, and practical recommendations are provided. The article aims to enhance financial efficiency in the education sector.
