Abstract
This article discusses the socio-economic mechanism for managing the quality of education in higher education institutions. It presents ideas on the centralized management of the economic management of the higher education system of Uzbekistan, including financing, public-private partnerships, economic diagnostics and strategic management, and innovation funds.
