Abstract

The current study was performed to analyze various factors having an impact on the performance measurement of the government sector. Data was collected quantitatively and qualitatively to evaluate the study. The questionnaire and the secondary data were used to analyze the factors having an influence on the performance measurement while detailed questions were asked to address the whys to minimize the gap between aspiration and reality. In the quantitative study, data interpretation was done by using SPSS software. Regression statistics were applied to identify the relation between both variables i.e., dependent and independent. While, for qualitative search strategy thematic analysis was done. The results of the study suggest a positive relation of the factors with the performance measurement. In the end, the study concluded that by implementing a performance measuring strategy in the government sector, accurate and efficient performance would be gained.
