Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the specifics of modern authors' appeal to mythology. The functions of binary oppositions in the author's myth-making and in the creation of the mythopoetic chronotope of a literary text are considered, revealed and analyzed on the material of Nazar Eshonkul's novel “Takik Mevasi” (Forbidden Fruit).
