Selfishness 101

Individual greed and selfishness have been the basis of modern society. They have become social norm. Selfishness is not caring for others or at least showing it to them. It is acting for the gratification of one's emotions. It is a trait nobody wants to have accredited to them. A selfish person is the one who keeps himself at a priority and is only concerned with himself. People are selfish because they benefit from selfishness. They are hardwired for both self-interest and other-interest. The purpose of this paper is to present a clear, comprehensive analysis of selfishness.
