The Impact of Social Movements in Achieving Peace and Development in Nigeria

This article examines the impact of social movements on Nigeria's political, social, and economic landscape. From the anti-colonial movements of the 1950s to the contemporary protests against police brutality and corruption, social movements have played a significant role in shaping Nigeria's history and contributing to the country's development, despite facing significant challenges, including government repression, lack of resources, and ethnic and religious divisions.
