Abstrak

Al-Wada'i (b 716 H) holds a prestigious position among the poets of the First Monarchical Era. He is one of the foremost poets of that period and has gained a significant acclaim from his contemporaries, who recognized his poetic talent and praised him and his poetry, sharing it in their gatherings and circulating it among themselves. As for the use of heritage in the poet's poetry, heritage is one of the crucial elements that poets have absorbed in their work; it serves as a means through which poets can achieve creativity, preserve the past, and connect it to the present. Often, a writer whether poet or prose authors resort to this technique to express a specific particularity related to themselves or the community they live .The research includes four axes: The first axis: The use of religious heritage. The second axis: The use of literary heritage. The third axis: The use of historical heritage. The fourth axis: The use of scientific terminology.
