The artistic use of poetic devices is a fundamental aspect of literature that deepens the meaning and emotional resonance of poems. The rich use of metaphors, repetition, and parallelism in lyrical works plays a critical role in enhancing the reader's understanding and experience. This article focuses on the comparison of artistic methods in the works of Magtymguly and I. Yusupov, two prominent poets. By examining their use of poetic language elements like repetition, metaphor, and gradation, the study explores the influence of Magtymguly's poetic tradition on 20th-century Karakalpak poets, particularly I. Yusupov. While many studies have explored individual poets, there is a gap in comparative analyses of how poetic methods have been shared and adapted between poets across different eras, particularly between Magtymguly and I. Yusupov. This research aims to highlight the artistic techniques used by both poets to deepen the meaning of their works, examining their shared poetic strategies, such as repetition and parallelism, and their contribution to the lyrical tradition. The study finds that both poets effectively use poetic devices like parallelism, metaphor, and repetition to enhance their lyrical expression, emphasizing the thematic and emotional depth of their poems. These techniques mirror one another and enrich the understanding of their philosophical insights into life and society. This analysis offers a unique comparative perspective, showing the continuity and transformation of poetic traditions between Magtymguly and I. Yusupov, thus expanding the understanding of their artistic methods. This research enriches the field of comparative literature and provides valuable insights for both literary scholars and poets, suggesting that artistic methods transcend time and region, influencing the poetic developments in later generations.
