This study aims to demonstrate the effective application of the “Gold Medal,” “Let’s Reach the Finish Line Together,” and “Grapes” methods in organizing elementary mathematics lessons through project-based learning (PBL). The objective is to enhance students’ understanding of the multiplication table while fostering collaboration, creativity, and motivation. The research employed a classroom-based practical approach with second-grade students, where mathematics lessons were structured as interactive games emphasizing group work and mutual support. The “Gold Medal” method was used to teach multiplication through a competitive yet supportive game format, motivating students to memorize and apply multiplication facts efficiently. The “Let’s Reach the Finish Line Together” method promoted teamwork through maze-solving and coordination activities that required unity and shared decision-making. Meanwhile, the “Grapes” method helped students identify factors of given numbers collaboratively, reinforcing their conceptual understanding of multiplication. Results showed that these methods significantly improved students’ engagement, comprehension, and collaborative behavior. Learners exhibited higher motivation and accuracy in solving mathematical problems, along with increased confidence and positive peer relationships. The game-based learning atmosphere reduced anxiety and made the learning process enjoyable and meaningful. The novelty of this study lies in combining play-based strategies within the PBL framework to teach core mathematical concepts effectively. The conclusion emphasizes that integrating collaborative, project-oriented, and game-based teaching techniques cultivates both academic achievement and essential social-emotional competencies in young learners, contributing to the advancement of innovative primary mathematics education.
