Abstrak

The article explores the organizational and economic mechanisms of development, indicating for the role of policy, innovation, and the impact of public-private partnerships in regional tourism development. Although it has become one of the most important drivers of regional economic growth, the efficiency of tourism management depends on the harmonization of all the stakeholders involved, on the integrated implementation of the principles of sustainable tourism development, and on modern technologies. Even though regional tourism has great potential, it remains confronted with poor infrastructure, lack of qualified personnel, and limited investment. To address these challenges, the research identifies different options for solutions, such as digital transformation, sustainable development of tourism, and regional tourism clusters. The research assesses critical drivers of regional tourism competitiveness (quality of infrastructure, investment promotion, and collaboration) using both qualitative and quantitative methods. The findings point towards drawing up a proper tourism competition environment along with efficient management systems, better marketing strategies, and development of human resources. The results of the research provide a more enriched comprehension of the organizational and economic frameworks capable of enhancing sustainable tourism development within a regional framework and according to the specific hypotheses of local policies and professionals within the sector. Hence the implications of the study lead to the conclusion that regional tourism development strategies that integrate environmental, social, and economic principles are now more imperative.
