Based on an interdisciplinary approach, the research examines the historical causes and consequences of the Aral Sea’s desiccation, highlighting its global significance as a model of human–nature imbalance. Special attention is given to sustainable development strategies, the evolution of ecological consciousness, and the philosophical understanding of human responsibility for the environment. The study emphasizes that overcoming the Aral crisis requires not only technological solutions but also the transformation of social values and environmental ethics.
