Abstrak
This paper analyses the existing state and problems of logistics services in Uzbekistan, highlighting that efficient logistics systems are critical to increase the country’s international trade performance and export capacity. The paper points out the problems that block logistics service development, such as ineffective goods delivery system, high transportation and logistic costs, low throughput capacity of transport infrastructure, slack-running logistics network. The article also explains the initiatives by the government to remove these bottleneck situations which include regulatory changes, upgradation of infrastructure and ushering in latest technologies. In addition, the article gives emphasis to innovation, qualified labor and having Uzbekistan joined the global logistic transportation network. The results indicate that an effective use of public incentives, investments in modern infrastructure and the early adoption of new logistics innovations will greatly raise the competitiveness of the national economy and its global integration.
