Abstract
This scientific article is dedicated to the modern methods and characteristics of financing small business activities by commercial banks through investments. The article analyzes the role of small businesses in economic development, the significance of commercial banks as a financial instrument in this sector, and the effectiveness of investment mechanisms. It also examines the main financial tools used by banks to support small businesses, such as lending, leasing, venture financing, microfinancing, and others. The article discusses pressing issues of small business financing in the context of Uzbekistan’s economy, including high interest rates, collateral issues, and limited access to financial resources. The study highlights the strategic role of commercial banks in fostering small business development and provides recommendations for enhancing the economic efficiency of investment-based financing.
