Abstract

This article examines the key financial challenges faced by non-governmental non-profit organizations (NGOs) and analyzes modern solutions and future prospects for improving their financial sustainability. NGOs play a crucial role in social development, humanitarian assistance, education, healthcare, and environmental protection. Yet, though they have the potential to play an important role, limited funding sources and financial instability severely hamper regulatory constraints and low investment attractiveness. It looks at crowdfunding, social entrepreneurship, impact investing, digital fundraising platforms and public-private partnerships as innovative financing mechanisms. Results indicate that diversified funding models and digital financial instruments can greatly contribute towards improving the NGOs' sustainability and transparency.
