Abstract
This article reveals the theoretical foundations of organizational and economic development of the food industry. That is, the opinions of foreign and domestic scientists on the main directions of accelerated organizational and economic development of the food industry were thoroughly studied and critically analyzed. The author's views on these theories are presented, and scientific proposals for the organizational and economic development of the food industry are developed.
