Abstract

This article analyzes the main factors affecting the efficiency of commercial bank activities and their importance in the development of the banking system. The study examines internal and external factors determining banking efficiency, including the effectiveness of bank management, the quality of the loan portfolio, the level of operating expenses, diversification of banking services, the level of digital technology implementation, and the impact of the macroeconomic environment. In addition, the main financial indicators used to assess banking efficiency are analyzed, and scientific and practical approaches aimed at improving bank performance are substantiated. The results of the study contribute to ensuring the stability of commercial banks, improving the quality of banking services, and strengthening the competitiveness of the banking system.
