Abstract
This article examines the concept of national values as an integral component of the general system of values and analyzes their role in shaping national identity, social development, and universal human values. The study conceptualizes the nation as both the subject and the object of its national values and argues that national values function as a crucial link between individual and universal values. Special attention is given to the structural components of national values, including the gene pool, historical memory, territory, language, culture, traditions, and spiritual heritage. The paper highlights the dynamic nature of national values, emphasizing their transformation and transmission across generations under changing historical, social, and political conditions.
