Discourse Markers Use Among Kirkuk University Students

Discourse markers play a significant role in facilitating effective communication among university students. Therefore, this Study aims to explore and analyze the use of discourse markers among Kirkuk university students, focusing on the most common type they used and functions, variation, and its impact on communication. A survey was conducted to gather data on the frequency and types of discourse markers used by participants. This survey-based study provides insights into the role and effectiveness of discourse markers, highlighting their potential impact on enhancing academic communication.
