Abstract
This study investigates the application of Learning Management Systems (LMS) in higher education and derives management lessons applicable to Vietnamese higher education contexts. It aims to analyze the benefits of LMS implementation globally and within Vietnam, identify effective strategies for implementation and management, and explore current LMS trends. The research offers actionable recommendations for optimizing LMS use to enhance educational outcomes in Vietnam. The study includes a comprehensive literature review and case studies on various LMS platforms, their functionalities, and their impacts on teaching and learning processes. Contextual factors influencing LMS adoption and effectiveness in Vietnamese higher education are also examined.
