Abstract
In order to improve village development, this study looks at how village finance management regulations are being implemented in Sumalata District, North Gorontalo Regency. Even with policies in place, their implementation is still not ideal. Through observations, documentation, and interviews, data were gathered using a descriptive qualitative methodology. Data reduction, presentation, and verification were all part of the analysis. The results show that while money is allotted to different initiatives, there are irregularities and unforeseen expenses that make it difficult to follow North Gorontalo Regent Regulation Number 30 of 2022. The study outlines critical elements that affect policy success, including organizational communication, resources, standards for policies, and socioeconomic and political environments. These results emphasize the need for better governance as well as tactical changes to increase the efficacy of policies for village development.
