Abstract

This article examines the phenomenon of linguistic interference at the morphological level in multilingual contexts, focusing on its causes, manifestations, and consequences. Morphological interference, often triggered by differences in grammatical systems, poses challenges for bilingual and multilingual speakers, leading to errors in word formation, grammatical categories, and the use of tense and number. The study highlights the relevance of understanding interference mechanisms to improve foreign language teaching and minimize its impact. Practical recommendations are proposed to enhance language acquisition through awareness, immersion, and methodological strategies tailored to address morphological interference.
