Abstract
This article presents a scientific analysis of the formation of the concept of patriotism through literary texts. The article discusses the main methods used in literary studies to form patriotism: text analysis, psychological method, historical method, and social method, aiming to examine the impact of literary works on the reader and their role in the development of patriotic feelings. The article also includes quotes from the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev regarding the promotion of patriotism. Examples from the works of renowned writers such as Abdulla Qodiriy, Chinghiz Aytmatov, and Usmon Nosir are provided, analyzing how national values and patriotism are formed through literary texts. The article offers in-depth scientific insights into the role of literature in shaping youth as devoted citizens, instilling national pride.
