Abstract
this article will cover the theoretical and methodological foundations of the processes of identification, assessment and development of personal abilities in the educational environment. The role of modern pedagogical approaches, psychological diagnostic methods, observation, conversation, testing and portfolio-based assessment systems in the educational process is analyzed. Opportunities that create an educational environment in the development of creativity, logical thinking, communicative, social and technical abilities of the individual are highlighted and effective pedagogical conditions are substantiated.
