Abstract

This scientific article provides a theoretical and analytical examination of the strategic significance of innovation in shaping competitive advantage in the context of the modern economy and maintaining it sustainably. The economic content of the concept of innovation, its impact on competitiveness, and the role of innovation-based strategies in enterprise activities are explored. In addition, the article analyzes the institutional and organizational mechanisms of innovative development, the concept of open innovation, and the opportunities for achieving competitive advantage through innovation in the context of Uzbekistan’s economy.
