Abstract
This article examines the symbolic motifs present on the coins minted in Choch by the West Turkic Khanate during the early Middle Ages. Furthermore, numismatic evidence suggests that these symbols are intricately linked to the socio-political and religious-ideological contexts of the period, as well as to the prevailing state traditions and expressions of authority.
