Abstract
This article explores Al-Khwarizmi’s journey to education and science in Baghdad, and how he contributed to a flourishing intellectual environment while working at the famous Bayt al-Hikma (House of Wisdom). His work was recognized not only for its theoretical innovations, but also for its practical applications in everyday life and governance, such as in trade and construction. The article concludes by acknowledging Al-Khwarizmi’s enduring legacy in science and mathematics, and how his work influenced both East and West, with his contributions remaining relevant to this day.
