Abstract

This article explores the concepts of metacognitive and intercultural approaches in the teaching of professional English language communication. Metacognitive strategies enhance learners' awareness of their cognitive processes in language acquisition, while intercultural approaches focus on navigating cultural diversity in professional settings. Both are essential for effective communication in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) contexts. Through theoretical analysis and practical examples, this study illustrates how these approaches foster better learning outcomes and communication skills in professional environments.
