Abstract

This article examines the causes and consequences of seasonal fluctuations in Uzbekistan’s hotel industry. It also analyzes international practices used to mitigate seasonality in countries such as Spain, Turkey, Austria, and Canada. Special emphasis is placed on strategies that can be adapted to the conditions of Uzbekistan, including the development of winter and summer tourism, event-based tourism, the stimulation of domestic tourism, and the MICE segment. The article offers specific recommendations aimed at reducing the seasonal dependence of the hotel business and ensuring the sustainable development of the industry throughout the year.
