Abstract
In this article, both local and overseas scholastic views are analyzed in order to provide with theoretical insights about the need for developing students’ critical thinking skill. Moreover, the writer discusses about the educational effect of developing students' thinking ability (LOT and HOT skills) in reading classes through effective and user-friendly classroom techniques that EFL teachers can adapt in their lesson planning process.
