Abstract

describes the results of a scientific and practical research conducted in order to breed Azolla (Azolla caroliniana WILLD ) plant in the wastewater of poultry enterprises and water purification, and to use the resulting azolla biomass as an additional feed for feeding broilers.
chickens were fed by adding 10-25-30% of Azolla biomass to the main feed . When broiler chickens were fed for 35 days and 30% azolla biomass was added to the main feed, out of the total consumed 340 kg of feed, the main feed was 238 additional feed and 102 kg. It is scientifically proven that the weight of broiler chickens increased by 0.2 kg and 102 kg of basic feed was saved compared to the control .
