Abstract
The article examines the psychological factors that influence the development of professional competence of a teacher. The relevance of the topic is due to the growing demands on the quality of education and the need to improve the level of training of specialists in the field of pedagogy. The study identified key psychological aspects such as motivation, personal qualities, self-efficacy and emotional intelligence, which play an important role in the formation of professional skills and abilities of a teacher.
