Abstract
This article explores the intricate relationship between comparative literature, comparative linguistics, and translation studies, highlighting their unique contributions and the synergistic opportunities they offer. This article also explores the concept of "Bridging Cultures" through the comparative analysis of William Shakespeare's "Othello" and Maksud Shaykhzoda's "Mirzo Ulugbek." By examining the literary techniques, themes, and cultural contexts of these tragedies, the study investigates how comparative literature, comparative linguistics, and translation studies can contribute to cross-cultural understanding. The analysis focuses on identifying shared human experiences, exploring the impact of cultural differences on literary expression, and examining how translation can effectively convey the nuances and complexities of these works across linguistic and cultural boundaries.
