Abstract
This article analyzes pedagogical processes organized on the basis of extracurricular activities aimed at the development of social initiative in students of grades 5-9. Factors that influence the formation of students ' social initiative, including the psychological environment, the interests and needs of students, the content, style and forms of events, have been studied. In the organization of events, special attention is paid to educational factors, methods of increasing student activity, as well as the role of teachers. As a result of the study, effective ways to develop social initiative have been proposed.
