Abstract

The article presents methods of leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to address challenges in beekeeping, such as declining bee populations and environmental stressors. It details AI technologies, including smart sensors for real-time hive monitoring, machine learning for early disease detection, and swarm intelligence for optimized hive management. These methods enhance bee health, reduce colony losses by 15–20%, and increase honey yields by 15–25%. Despite high costs and data privacy concerns, AI’s potential to improve efficiency and support sustainable agriculture is significant. Future directions for AI-driven conservation and accessibility improvements are given.
