Abstract
This article addresses the linguistic aspects of intercultural communication within the framework of modern linguistics and cultural studies. It focuses on the relationship between language and culture, analyzing how phonological, lexical, grammatical, and pragmatic differences influence cross-cultural dialogue. By applying descriptive and comparative methods, the study examines examples from English and Uzbek, highlighting linguistic barriers as well as strategies for overcoming them. The results emphasize the necessity of intercultural competence and linguistic adaptability as fundamental conditions for successful communication in multicultural environments.
