Abstract
This article analyzes the borrowings that have entered the Uzbek language from Germanic languages and their influence on the development of the language. It is noted that in the process of globalization, new borrowings related to technology, business, and internet culture are entering the Uzbek language through English. Germanic borrowings expand the lexical richness of the Uzbek language and serve to form new terms in scientific, technical, and cultural spheres. At the same time, it is emphasized that some borrowings may negatively affect the natural norms and uniqueness of the language. The article concludes that it is necessary to standardize borrowings, to create Uzbek equivalents, and to use the language wisely.
