Abstract

The article provides an example of forming the research competence of university students, consisting of a special course "Studying the Properties of Semiconductor Materials" and a corresponding laboratory practicum based on the study of the properties of known semiconductors (Ge, Si) and newly synthesized semiconductors (TlInSe2, TlGaSe2). As a result of studying the properties of these materials, students' educational-research and research competence is formed.
