Abstract

This article examines the concepts of national statehood and national identity within Jadid ideology from a historical and philosophical perspective. The study analyzes the intellectual heritage and socio-political activities of Jadid thinkers and explores their understanding of nation, modernization, education, and political development. The research argues that Jadids should be interpreted not only as an educational reform movement but also as an ideological and political project aimed at building a modern national state. The analysis demonstrates that the Jadids considered enlightenment, cultural renewal, and political consciousness as the fundamental foundations for the development of national identity and independent statehood.
