Abstract
The development of speech competence is one of the key objectives in training philology students, particularly in the context of globalization and the growing demand for effective intercultural communication. This study examines the role of pedagogical technologies in improving the foreign language speech competence of students majoring in philology. The research focuses on the integration of innovative teaching methods, interactive technologies, and artificial intelligence tools in the process of teaching English. The purpose of the study is to analyze effective pedagogical approaches that contribute to the development of students’ communicative and speech competence in foreign language learning. The research methodology includes theoretical analysis, comparative analysis of pedagogical approaches, observation, questionnaires, and pedagogical experimentation. The results indicate that the application of interactive pedagogical technologies such as cluster, Venn diagrams, SWOT analysis, fishbone diagrams, and collaborative learning significantly improves students’ oral communication skills and their ability to participate in professional dialogue. The findings also demonstrate that the integration of artificial intelligence tools enhances the effectiveness of language learning by supporting personalized learning and improving feedback mechanisms. The study concludes that the systematic use of pedagogical technologies and innovative teaching methods plays a crucial role in developing speech competence among philology students and contributes to improving the overall quality of foreign language education.
