Abstract

This article analyzes the role and importance of action games in the development of general and special physical qualities of young basketball players. The study highlights the possibilities of developing special physical qualities inherent in the game of basketball, along with general physical qualities such as speed, agility, endurance, strength and coordination, through action games. It is also shown that the use of action games in the training process increases the interest of young athletes, enhances their motor activity and ensures the effectiveness of the training process. The results of the study show that the systematic and purposeful use of action games has a positive effect on increasing the level of physical fitness of young basketball players and the formation of technical and tactical skills.
