Abstract

In this article, the scholar's Uzbek translations of “Ihya Ulum-ad-ddin” or “Kimyoyi Saodat” were selected as the object of research. These works are major examples of the Islamic enlightenment heritage, through which the theoretical and practical aspects of Ghazali's thought are harmoniously manifested. The analysis based on the translated texts allows us to determine the functional characteristics of stylistic and lexical units, their role in expressing spiritual and moral ideas, and their comparative aspects. The main purpose of the research is to conduct a comparative analysis of stylistic and lexical units in Imam Ghazali's works “Ihya Ulum-ad-ddin” and "Kimyoyi Saodat", to reveal their role in conveying spiritual content, and their aesthetic and educational impact on the reader's mind. In this way, the uniqueness of Ghazali's style, the harmony of its lexical means with the ideological load, and their educational and didactic significance are scientifically illuminated.
