Construction on the Basis of Green Economy, Development of Hydropower, Electric Power and Alternative Energy Sources

This article systematically studies the development trends of the hydropower, electric power, and alternative energy sources sectors in Uzbekistan in the context of the transition to a green economy. The inextricable link between these sectors and the concept of a green economy, their role in the national economy, and their contribution to the green transformation are analyzed. The role of energy efficiency, carbon emissions reduction, the introduction of alternative energy technologies, infrastructure modernization, and public-private partnership mechanisms is assessed. Scientific proposals are developed for the sustainable development of the sectors based on international experience, national reforms, and regional statistical data.
