Abstract
The article highlights that poverty reduction is one of the most important, priority, and multidimensional directions within Uzbekistan’s strategy for sustainable socio-economic development and occupies a central place in the system of large-scale reforms implemented in the country. The study substantiates the necessity of systematically regulating this process by the state, analyzing poverty as a multifactorial phenomenon, developing new mechanisms of social protection, and aligning them with international standards.
