Abstract
This article analyzes the economic and social content of museum tourism, its role in the development of regional tourism, factors for increasing the tourist attractiveness of museums, and opportunities for improving this area in Uzbekistan. As a result of the study, it is substantiated that museum tourism, along with the preservation of cultural heritage, has a significant impact on the development of the services market, employment, and the regional brand.
