Abstract
This article examines the organization of virtual laboratory sessions in the field of economics within the context of digital transformation. The integration of digital technologies into the education system necessitates a shift from traditional theoretical instruction to practice-oriented, simulation-based, and data-driven learning models. Drawing on the experience of the United States, the European Union, Singapore, and Australia, the study explores institutional models of virtual economic laboratories, digital platforms, big data simulations, online economic modelling, and decision-making environments. The paper proposes an integrated virtual laboratory model for economics education based on the formula “Digital Simulation + Data Analytics + Interactive Modelling + Competency-Based Assessment.”
