The study focuses on the implementation of international standards, digitalization, and “smart hotel” technologies, as well as successful case studies of international hotel chains and ethnic-style hotels in historic cities. Key challenges are examined, including the shortage of qualified personnel, uneven infrastructure development, and the seasonality of demand. The paper proposes strategic directions such as public-private partnerships, professional education, and sustainable tourism development. The findings of this study are relevant for hotel managers, tourism specialists, and investors.
