Abstract

This article analyzes the current status and significance of the Russian language in the modern world, with a particular focus on its role in Central Asia. It examines how Russian functions as a means of daily communication in multilingual societies and highlights its importance in education, employment, and economic relations. The study also explores the influence of the Russian language in digital media, culture, and scientific fields. Special attention is given to its role as a bridge language that connects people of different nationalities and facilitates international cooperation. The article concludes that despite the growing dominance of other global languages, Russian remains a relevant and practical tool for communication, professional development, and access to knowledge.
