Abstract
This paper explores the depiction of the female character in Salomat Vafoni, analyzing the narrative techniques, thematic significance, and social contexts that shape her representation. Drawing on gender theory and literary analysis, this study argues that the female protagonist serves as a complex symbol of societal norms, personal agency, and evolving gender roles. Through a close reading of key passages, the paper dissects the intersection of personal struggle and cultural expectations that define her character arc. Ultimately, this analysis highlights the significance of female representation in contemporary Uzbek literature and its implications for broader gender discourse.
